What Are Weather Events?
Weather events dramatically change gameplay with exclusive animal spawns, luck multipliers, and unique mechanics. There are 5 weather states in Catch And Tame.
☀️ Clear Weather (Day)
BaselineMechanics
Default weather state. Blue sky, normal visibility. 1.0x Luck multiplier (baseline).
Available Animals
Standard animal pool - Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary animals spawn normally based on lasso tier and luck.
🌧️ Rain / Thunderstorm
+25% LuckVisual Effects
Gray skies, rain particles, thunder sounds, occasional lightning strikes
Special Mechanics
Higher spawn rate for rare/mythical animals
Animals are easier to catch during rain (lower strength values)
Exclusive & Boosted Spawns
Legendary • ~$90/sec income • Breeding ingredient for Elephant
Rain Exclusive • ~$200/sec income • Key endgame pet!
Also spawns during Aurora events

Use Rain Totems to manually trigger rain events. Essential for farming Axolotls!

Lightning Dragon is ESSENTIAL for Hydra → Celestial Hydra breeding chain. Most valuable mythical!
Cosmic Griffin needed for Celestial Griffin, Celestial Hydra, and other top breeds. Plus Cosmic Fruits!
Mythical Griffin useful but not critical for main breeding chains. Still worth catching for collection!
